‘The Mountain Stream’ Oil on board c1870 by John D MichieJohn D Michie was an Edinburgh painter in oil of figure subjects, historical scenes and landscapes, especially in Brittany and Sussex. He lived in London between 1872 & 1877 before returning to Edinburgh. He exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and the Glasgow Institute for the Fine Arts.
